 "Dance with Shadow" (Russia)

We may see the Light and we know that it exists thanks to the Shadow. We decide to pick the topic “Dance with Shadow” for the 11th Festival in 2022 as it is time still painted with pandemic. Pandemic touched and raised many aspects of our psyche: fear, anxiety, anger, aggression. How can we instead of being frozen and paralyzed by these feelings be aware of them, continue to dance, stay flexible, holding and accepting the Shadow? How can Expressive Arts help us in this dance, dance with Shadow? Acknowledgement, awareness and acceptance of different aspects of the Shadow is one of the ways to harmonic, more integral and balanced life. And vice versa suppression of these aspects may cause illnesses, addictions, conflicts. At our Festival we will try to bravely look at and probably find the ways to transform the Shadow as a part of international work with help of Expressive Arts. Strange as it may seem thanks to the Shadow, we can see the Light. We invite you to take part in this collective research in the field of Expressive Arts.

Dear friend, we are inviting you to take part in the International Summer Festival of Expressive
Arts Therapy. For foreigner presenters of workshops participation is free. We encourage
you to come and share you knowledge and skills with Russian colleagues.
Language and communication.
The main language of the Festival will be Russain, but do not worry! the
translation will be provided on the days of the conference. Also please send
all the materials for your workshops/presentations in advance, so we sure to
have time for translation procedure. You should pay for your translator except
of your workshop translation.
Accommodation.
If you have an intention to visit Moscow just for the days of the conference,
please let us know in advance, so we could help to arrange your

Задачи Фестиваля-конференции:

Развитие Терапии выразительными искусствами (expressive arts therapy) в России, как эффективного направления психотерапии и психологической коррекции, делающего акцент на интермодальный подход в терапии искусствами;

Демонстрация возможностей исцеляющей силы искусства для решения личностных проблем, личностного развития, самоисследования, развития сообществ, а также возможностей использования интермодального подхода в образовании и бизнес-консультировании;

Распространение знаний о подходе Терапии выразительными искусствами (expressive arts therapy) в России. Интермодальный подход подразумевает использование различных видов искусства (изобразительные искусства, танец, поэзию, музыку и др.) в одной индивидуальной или групповой сессии. Этот подход был основан в 70 ые годы 19 го века, его основателями являются Паоло Книлл, Шон Мак Нифф, Натали Роджерс, Стивен и Елен Ливайны и другие терапевты выразительными искусствами. Интермодальный подход гибок и говорит на языке искусства, сознания и души.

Сближение Российских и международных сообществ терапевтов и консультантов в сфере терапии выразительными искусствами. Российскую конференцию поддерживает Международная Ассоциация по терапии Выразительными искусствами.(International Expressive arts therapy Association www.ieata.com)

Знакомство терапевтов искусствами других направлений (арт-терапия, танцевально-двигательная терапия, музыко-терапия) с интермодальным подходом.
